James Kavanagh, President & Chief Executive Officer
Jim is an innovative entrepreneur with strong experience and expertise across the real estate, energy and technology industries. A recognized leader, Deloitte named Jim as one of the top 50 CEO’s of the Fastest Growing Technology Companies in the U.S. on three separate occasions. Recognizing a market need, Jim established 4tell™ to address the increasing demand for a technology solution which enables organizations to address their business objectives and to achieve their goals for strategic decision making, capital investment, and sustainability while delivering improved bottom-line results.
Julia White MacMillan, Chief Marketing Officer
Julia leads the market development and product management strategy for the Company’s technology platform. With proven success in strategic product, partner and marketing development as well as expertise in creating and selling enterprise solutions, Julia brings more than 24 years of experience in business development, client servicing, marketing and sales management. With a particular focus on fostering client relationships that result in long term success, Julia develops and implements strategies to cultivate partnerships with organizations which offer a full complement to 4tell™’s technology solutions.
James FitzGibbons, Chief Financial Officer
Jim is a senior financial executive with extensive experience in the Software and Services industries. He has over 20 years of increasing responsibility in public and private industry with proven leadership and technical skills. Jim possesses strong technical expertise related to GAAP and SEC filings and significant experience working with external auditors and regulators. His background also includes mergers and acquisitions, ERP implementation and Sarbanes Oxley. Jim is a Certified Public Accountant.
Tom Bart, Vice President of AEC Solutions
Tom is responsible for managing and maximizing value with 4tell™’s AEC Solutions through increased technology deployments and product adaptation to assist 4tell™’s AEC clients in achieving their business objectives. With a strong facilities and infrastructure background, Tom brings 20 years of experience in client development, asset management technologies, and resource and project management. He is skilled in solution oriented consulting while creating program and efficiency improvement. Tom has held several management roles in facility personnel and budget management.
Julio da Silva, Vice President of Development
Julio has overall responsibility for advancing 4tell™’s technology platform to achieve the Company’s strategic business plan and growth objectives. He is actively involved with the architecture, design and on-going development of the 4tell™ iPlan™ technology platform, playing a principal role in its evolution. Julio brings over 25 years of expertise and experience in developing software applications, architecting technical product solutions and implementing complex technology solutions and platforms. He has proven success in designing and architecting innovative solutions that scale and align with the business needs of organizations
Tim Marshall, Vice President of Services
Tim, a senior level industrial engineer, leads 4tell™’s Services Division. He brings over 35 years of progressive international experience in the fields of portfolio assessments, capital planning processes, strategic analysis, data management, operations, process improvement and client support. Tim is charged with providing clients with consulting and client support services in the design and implementation of integrated end-to-end work processes and solutions to address scalable technology-enabled field data services.
Neil Battarbee, Director of Client Services
Neil oversees 4tell™’s Client Services team. He has over 17 years of international experience in project engineering, cross-functional team management in the capital equipment industry and software product management with a focus on the built environment and sustainability. Skilled in project management and consulting solutions, Neil is responsible for seamless delivery of client solutions. This includes project development and successful client management by utilizing business consulting and web-based technology implementations. His background includes working in engineering and energy companies across both public and private sectors.
Mark White, Controller
Mark develops, manages, scales and streamlines all accounting, financial reporting, human resources and administrative functions across 4tell™. With over 16 years of executive financial and accounting experience, Mark’s process acumen directly supports 4tell™’s growth and business objectives. He is proficient at maintaining all internal controls and manages and reports on guidelines evaluating all aspects of the company’s performance. Mark is a Certified Public Accountant.

Andrew Gesell, Director
Andy is a Partner at RUBICON Technology Partners. Previously, Andy was a Partner at Court Square Capital (CSC) investing in technology and telecommunications companies from 2005 to 2012 and had joined CSC’s predecessor firm, Citigroup Venture Capital (CVC) as a Principal in 2004. Andy has been involved in the execution of privately negotiated proprietary transactions, corporate carve-outs and multiple follow-on acquisitions for investments including ANCILE Solutions, Inc., CompuCom Systems, Inc., Fibertech Networks, Newmarket, Inc., Ntelos, Rocket Software, Inc. and SPS.
Andy has over 20 years of experience working with middle market technology companies, initially as an advisor and then as an investor. Andy currently serves on the Board of Directors of Personify, Inc. and 4tell Solutions. He has previously served the Board of Directors of Ancile Solutions, CompuCom Systems, Inc., SPS, Fibertech Networks, Newmarket, Inc., Rocket Software and Ntelos (NASDAQ: NTLS). Prior to his time at CSC and its precursor, CVC, Andy was a Director in the Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) Technology Group in Palo Alto, where he was responsible for corporate finance coverage of the semiconductor industry. He started his career at CSFB in New York in the LBO sponsor coverage and leveraged finance group where he developed a sector specialty in the young market for leverage in the technology sector. Andy received a B.A. in Zoology from George Washington University and his MBA from Columbia Business School.
John Hodge, Director
John is a Partner at RUBICON Technology Partners. Previously, John was a Senior Managing Director and Senior Advisor at Blackstone in the Private Equity group focused on the firm’s global technology investing activities. John was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing, and managing investments across all segments of the technology industry with a primary focus on Blackstone’s west coast investing activities. John was directly involved in Blackstone’s investments in Freescale Semiconductor, SunGard and SunGard Higher Education. In addition to his technology investing responsibilities, as a Senior Managing Director, John was a member of the firm’s Private Equity Investment Committee, which evaluated all investments globally.
John has over 24 years of experience focused exclusively on the technology industry. John currently serves on the Board of Directors of Astute, Inc., 4tell Solutions and 3esi, Inc. John previously served on the Board of Directors of Silicon Image (NASDAQ: SIMG) and Freescale Semiconductor (NYSE: FSL). John was also a member of the Operating Committee of SunGard. Prior to his time at Blackstone, John was one of the original team members of the Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) Technology Group where he managed the Global Corporate Finance team with responsibilities for all regions and industry groups. During his career at CSFB, John was involved in over 250 technology financings and M&A transactions mostly focused on assisting middle market technology companies to achieve transformative growth. John received a B.S. in Biology from Stanford University.
